What is Casweb?
Casweb is a web interface providing access to aggregate information from the 1971, 1981, 1991 and 2001 UK Censuses.
Casweb can be used to explore and download census data.

Who can use Casweb?
Casweb is a free service for staff and students at UK higher and further education establishments.
A UK Federation userid is required to use Casweb. Your university or college will provide you with a UK Federation userid (see the CDU FAQ for more information). You will be required to register with Census.ac.uk, and for certain datasets, agreement to additional Special Conditions is required.
